How to dress in Lapland

Dressing up properly is the most important way to make your experience perfect.

WINTER

Your own clothing

  • Long- thermal underwear
  • Socks: cotton socks worn under woolen socks
  • Trousers: loose-fitting, fleece, cotton or similar 
  • Shirt: Loose-fitting, high collar, cotton or similar 
  • Sweater: wool, fleece or similar

You may use your own mittens, hat, scarf and woollen socks if you have suitable with you.

 

Equipment provided by Happy Fox

  • Shoes: at least one size larger than your usual size. Loose-fitting shoes keep your feet warmer.
  • Snowmobile overall
  • Balaclava
  • Helmet

Woollen socks, scarf, mittens and woollen hat are provided if necessary.

SUMMER

The weather varies in Lapland widely over different months and it could be quite chilly also at summer. Dressing up properly is the most important way to make your experience perfect.

  • Jacket and trousers suitable for outdoor activities
  • Comfortable shirt
  • Good shoes and socks for outdoor activities
  • Underwear

  • Rain Coat (poncho), in case of summer showers
